Regenerated spaces. Families backing themselves. Businesses investing. Christchurch genuinely feels like the place to be. That said, we’re not “finished.” There are still empty sites. Infrastructure frustrations pop up regularly. And the ongoing delays with the Cathedral rebuild are a pretty clear reminder that some parts of our recovery are still a work in progress. Progress hasn’t been perfect — and it hasn’t been even.
